September 13, 2014, 11:57 am I keep receiving calls from this company looking for someone who used to have my phone number. I've had my number for 9 years, and that doesn't make any difference to these idiots. They call twice a week. I think the only real solution seems to be up to me, and you the other consumers. They are not afraid of the mention of "Attorney General". They just keep doing what they want. This is a very good example of a company that just doesn't care whether they are harassing innocent people on a continual basis, just so long as they get what they want in the end. My true hope for them is that one day they will p****off the wrong person, and won't like what they get in the end. They will make false claims & statements and if you question the person on the other end of the line, they will hang up on you. September 23, 2014, 4:06 pm Received a voice message from "Unknown" claiming that my SSN and signature have been linked to fraudulent activity and that papers would be served to my home and place of work, and with the county where I live. They said if I do not call them back within several business days that they will file for wage garnishment, etc. It's all part of a huge scam. If you've had old debt past the SOL, what happens is junk debt buyers sell their accounts to offshore "companies" like Global Management, who use illegal tactics to try to extort money from you. Group they referred to I told them had already been paid. They want me to send them copies of where I paid off item. I feel like they are a scam and based on these other comments they are! |
