August 23, 2013, 10:37 am Just ignored a call from this number, and I know I don't owe any money! I called them back and they asked for my name which I gave them to verify nobody they were calling was living here. They told me they would remove my number from their list and it was clearly outdated. Legit debt collections agency, just not calling the right person with an old list. July 30, 2014, 11:52 am Definitely a collections agency. They may be calling to trick you into giving them information about someone else if they aren't calling about you. I think the company is a junk debt collector, which means they buy junk debt for other people with impossible to collect debts for a fraction of the debt amount. Then they make crazy amount of letters and calls to scare people into paying them. Very profitable way to make money as only a few payments means serious profit magins. I had a fedex debt in my past with these people which I ignored. They go away for good after the first letter or call in my experience. In this case though the call was not about me. August 13, 2014, 4:50 pm This is a collections agency called "CBV Collections." They will remove your number if you call them back and request it (unless your a deadbeat debtor) and can put up with their crap. When I called them back I asked to speak to the manager and then they put me off to some guys voicemail and nobody dealt with me.
