August 21, 2014, 6:37 pm A message claimed from legag affairs dept ragarding a legal issue from 818-945-8310. I called bakc, he spoke Hello to me and I told the I was returning the call from that #. Then he kept speaking in Hindi. At the begining I thought he was talking to somebody else. I asked "Are you taling to me" for three times and said "Don't talk to me in Hindi, I don't speak Hindi" He was so rude and said "How do you know I am speaking Hindi if you don't, a*****e!" I have heard some Hindi speaking but don't know anything about it. However by the tone I can tell that was Hindi, anyhow. August 21, 2014, 9:47 pm All phone companies block numbers now. Cox charged me extra $6.00 a month to block numbers like these scumbags and you have your peace and quiet again. Its pretty easy too. September 16, 2014, 1:48 pm My sister received a message from that 818 number identifying himself as Loyd Jackson (or something like that). He said he is from the Dept of legal affairs, calling about some legal issue and that we should get a lawyer... The recording was not good enough to comprehend everything he said. we ignored it but he called again today but left no message this time. I called him back to find out what he wants, but it was a different person who answered my call. I ask him what business he is in, whom he represents...He claim that my phone was breaking up he could not hear what I said.. I called again twice but both times was not connected. I wonder how these scumbags can keep operating like that without having the authority come down on them. It is so sad that our society deteriorated so low, so quick. God help us. September 25, 2014, 3:48 pm Received several messages from this phone number stating that they were calling from the 'Legal Department' of the US Treasury. The message was that they needed immidiate payment or a warrent for my arrest would be issued. huggghhh? It was a very strange accent - hindi trying to be Texan. I phoned back and spoke with a Mr. Nigel Shagwell - oh yeah - real original - they must have taken from an Austin Powers movie. They were over the top aggressive- demanding a payment & when I finally started laughing.. he hung up on me and said ' do not call this number again'.
