October 3, 2014, 2:31 am The caller id said "SURVEY" and when you pick up the line it's the scam for the medical alert device. In case you don't know what this is it's a scam for elderly people to buy a medical device you where that sends a signal to someone if you fall down. They offer the device for free and offer free shipping as a way to hook you on to the scam. SOmetimes they will offer seniors a big coupon book as well. Caller Company: SURVEY Caller Type: Survey

October 4, 2014, 5:06 pm Caller ID said "SURVEY", I have an ans machine so line always gets picked up anyway. I answered & pushed 1. Female voice said "Hello" like it's not even a business. I asked what the survey was about, and she said something like this is Life Alert, and I let her give the pitch. I said "so this is a sales call then, not a survey?" She said it's not a survey. I replied, "You started lying to me before I even picked up the phone with the Caller ID. What makes you think I'll believe anything else you tell me?" She hung up. Usually this one says I'm caller #49 or so and I hang up. I just have fun wasting their time. Caller Company: "Life Alert" alias "SURVEY" Caller Type: Telemarketer

September 26, 2015, 4:26 pm This is a big ripoff for elderly folks. They want to sell them a "Life Alert" bracelet and will get very aggressive with the person on the phone about giving you grocery coupons if you don't think you can afford the bracelet. The scheme in this case is not the selling of the bracelet, but the monthly recurring billing for being connected to their service for the alert function of the bracelet.
