December 17, 2014, 3:52 pm It is Bloomingdales but you would never know because they don't leave messages (just call repeatedly until you pick up) and then it's an automated message. When you call that number back, they never identify themselves as Bloomingdales, but simply ask for your account number which I refused to do. They kept asking for more personal information the more I refused to co-operated including my ssn# which is ridiculous as I can't even verify their id. December 15, 2015, 10:04 am Just received 3 calls in a row. When I called back the person on the phone said they were with Macy's. Asked for my phone number, name and last 4 digits of my social. I had an account many, many years ago and canceled. I do not have an active account with Macy's. They said that I do and he could not help me without my information. Will be passing by the store today so will pop in. Caller Company: None given

June 24, 2016, 5:40 pm Have received multiple calls per day leaving a message for someone that is not me and I do not know. I called - claim they are Bloomingdales. To remove you from their calling list they want your name, which I refused to give. Sounds very fishy. possibly located in Phillipines, as person answering indicated that. June 24, 2016, 7:39 pm Called Bloomingdales direct and explained the problem. It does sound very much like the same call center as the debt collector - same hold music, same Filipino accents. Placed me on a brief hold and then told me she had placed my number on their do not call list. Knew my phone number and asked for no other info. Let's see if this does stop the endless calls.
