November 20, 2014, 2:41 pm I am getting calls from this number mentioned trips to vegas, car toubles, and the need for money to be sent. They claim to be relatives. Sounds like the famous mexican family scam. Could be a caretel looking to rob your home or steal your money. I would hang up and ignore this caller to be on the safe side. December 4, 2014, 6:08 pm Man with a Asian accent, same thing, said I had their alarm system, but of course I don't, What I said to him was " This is a scam, but my granddaughter is an attorney, she happens to be here and wants too speak to you. June 19, 2015, 6:17 pm This is a potential scam artist. They will call and say they are from ADT home security and mentioned issues with your home security system. They may be trying to trick you into telling them if you home has a security system or not, that may be the real intention of the call so they can try to figure out where you live from the public phone book and then case your house later on to be ready to rob it when you aren't home. I suggest you be careful not to tell them that you are person they claim to be calling for and not to discuss your home security system or that you don't have one if you don't, Caller Company: ADT Security Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher |
