May 13, 2015, 3:06 am I am getting illegal requests for back taxes to be paid with this number. Ridiculous criminals trying to use fear to extort me. I own no money to the IRS and have the paperwork to prove it. I also used the internet to do research and was not surprised when I saw the IRS gov website with a page discussing this scam. They are Indian in ethnicity and most likely calling from an IP computer system that is direct from the country India in some big illegal call centre. This is a famous scam and the IRS has publicly stated that people should not trust this kind of number. High risk call if you choose to pick it up. June 28, 2015, 10:07 am This is an IRS tax scam and the IRS has been quite clear about the scam as they have a link up at: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Tax-Scams-Consumer-Alerts They don't make calls for debts like this, especially debt requests where they ask for a prepaid card at a local store to be used. July 9, 2015, 2:20 pm Claimed it was a final notice from the IRS and to call back. No other notices have been rcvd. Did not call this number back. Indian accents are dead giveaway that this is a scammer. Indian accents for unusual or unexpected calls from the IRS asking for money should be ignored. Caller Company: IRS Caller Type: Unknown

July 13, 2015, 11:53 am Received repeated calls from this number. I called back & a heavily-accented man answered both times. I asked to speak with someone who might be easier for me to understand. July 16, 2015, 5:19 pm Got a computerized call on my cellphone stating this is my last call and that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I called the number back and spoke to a Peter Smith who insisted I give him my name. When I refused he hung up. I called back and the same guy answered. This time he said a few names and wanted me to conferred. I did and he hung up. Playing their game I called back again. This time I spoke to Charlie Young who gave me a badge ID, I had requested it from the first guy who refused to provide. Charlie was unable to tell me the purpose of his call and asked for me to confirm a few names. I told him none were mine. He then asked for my name and she I refused he hung up. Determined to annoy the heck of out them, I decided to call back l. They must have turned the system off because the call will no longer go through. BUNCH OF IDIOTS!!
