January 31, 2014, 7:10 pm I received a called from these people twice, once in the morning and also once in the afternoon. The first phone call I politely told the representative after her little pitch of me owing someone money, and that I had been sued, that it was a scam, she literally hung up in my face, later that afternoon got a call from a guy, and before he started his pitch I asked if I could be removed from their list, he literally went off, and threaten to tell everyone I know including my job references and that he was going to call everyday and make my life a living hell (his exact words),after he said that,I also told him that I knew this was a scam,he hung up in my face before I could get my next statement out. I then called them back, and the same guy answered and I told him I wanted to be removed from their list, these people knew my name, employer info, and last 4 of my social. I haven't a clue how they retrieved this information. But he told me that I would have to hold, and once again hung up in my face. This is ridiculous that anything like that can happen to anyone. And to think their is a call center set up somewhere where people extort money out of people in a massive like manner for a living. February 28, 2015, 6:54 am These people called me at my job and said that I had a serious legal matter to attend to and that I could be subjected to a lawsuit if I didn't respond immediately. This type of call is illegal no matter the cause. You can't call people at their jobs and embarrass them in front of their employers or co-workers with claims of debt or lawsuits. It's dangerous to people's livelihoods and reputations. They have laws against this type of harassment and blackmail. Just a fear tactic buy a fake debt extortionist hoping fear will overcome me and get a free payment. Don't be a fool and ignore anything that doesn't come in writing first.
