February 14, 2015, 8:11 am Con-artists faking irs tax debt collections. They may make legal threats or threats of arrest if you don't immediately pay them. Anyone from a government office demanding money which threats of arrest is a scammer. I believe the IRS has put out webpages describing this scam and they you should avoid it or block if possible. March 9, 2015, 12:42 pm A complete scam. They pretended to be the IRS and demanded money. Told me I was going to be arrested and sued for the funds I owe. I asked for their address so I could come over and pay them, the Indian man hung up on me. I had to laugh. Idiots running a lame scam. Don't fall for it. April 1, 2015, 4:13 pm A fake IRS agent called me claiming to be preparing to have me arrested if I didn't pay a $8000 tax debt he said I owed. In this the person has a very obvious Indian accent, which isn't evidence alone of this being a scam...however that fact that the government doesn't make calls to demand money like this is.
