July 3, 2015, 7:23 am Caller was Indian in ethnicity and said they were from the IRS. Told me that a lawsuit was being prepared for unpaid evaded taxes and I might be prosecuted as well. I have no tax issues and am 100% certain that this is a scammer. The IRS is not this unprofessional with demands for money. You would most often get a letter saying you owe money with phone numbers and faxes lines you can use. Caller Company: IRS Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

July 12, 2015, 1:27 pm This was a scammer from the IRS saying they were going to file a lawsuit. This is not legit. The real IRS has made public statements on websites about this being a complete fake scammer. The real IRS will not ask for money in this manner or immediately resort to threats. July 14, 2015, 9:11 pm Some lame scammer from India telling me that I owe money that I will be both sued and arrested for not complying. Ridiculous bs. I will not respond to this nonsense and will block from this point on. IRS website lists this is a common scam and they they don't make calls asking for payments in prepaid cards or western union as these scam callers will try. July 29, 2015, 6:14 pm I have received similar messages before from a man with an Indian accent. This message was recorded in a woman's voice but was barely audible due to the recording 'cutting out" (probably played so many times it was worn out).
