February 17, 2015, 11:55 am I also got a call from this scumbag. Sounded Indian and told me to go to my computer to fix a virus problem that was infecting other computers on the internet. They used common windows errors in the admin control panel to try to fool me that it was evidence of a problem with my computer. The errors they show you are common and normal for pc operation. They actually make millions of dollars selling you fake tech support contracts and selling you software that is freely available on the internet. This is why they don't stop calling, cause it's too easy to rip off naive people with little computer experience. April 16, 2015, 8:55 am A person from a fake company called "Isecure" said that he was calling about the security threats to my computer and the internet. Needing check files and settings on my computer to fix the problem. He said needed me to sit in front of my computer to fix the problem. Refused to tell me the ip address of my computer or his company to help me determine setting needing to fixed on my own. All of this happened of coarse because the whole call is a scam. They want remote access with you helping them to configure it and then come in for a fake fix. They actually want to sell you tech support memberships at the end and this call is designed to fake them helping you so you will buy the tech support membership. August 13, 2015, 1:42 pm Some lame Indian accented weirdo called me about a virus infection on my computer and told me that I had to use his help to fix it or other people on the network could be infected. He said he had my ip address and I asked him how he knew my phone number from my ip address. He couldn't answer. He also couldn't answer why he said I had a pc when I have a mac.
