April 26, 2015, 12:13 am Indian accented scam artists trying to fool me that they are from the IRS and that I was in severe arrears on my income taxes. They said I could be charged with tax evasion if I didn't pay them immediately. They said I owed them $1549.49, but would except $400 payment immediately to settle the tax debt. And IRS that negotiates tax debts? HAHAHAHAHA. Such an obvious scam I decided to tell the person the phone that I was going to do dirty things to his mother. He didn't like that and said all hope was lost I will be prosecuted and that's all. Final. HAhahahaha. Still a free a man after 3 days. I 'm confident I'll stay that way. May 30, 2015, 5:29 pm This is a fake IRS scammer making threats I need to pay back owed taxes which were left unpaid. He told me that I was going to be arrested if I didn't comply and that payment needed to be immediately within the next 48 hours or the police were coming. They wanted me to use a green dot card which was a ridiculous red flag that this was not the government. Indian accents. Caller Company: Fake IRS Threats Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

June 21, 2015, 12:26 pm If you get a call from this number, it's not the IRS - it's a SCAM...do not give any information to them. The IRS does not make threats like this and demand payment over prepayment cards...those payment methods are untraceable. The real government would also send you letters in the mail and not waste time with scary calls like this using such a casual method of payment.
