September 13, 2013, 12:06 am Scammers impersonating Government agencies, law firms, or the IRS to extort you. They said that I have avoided them and can be prosecuted. They want money from me and tell me agents will come to my home or work to arrest me within 48 hours if I don't cooperate with their payment or begin a payment plan. I read the government website that says this is not legit as they don't make threatening calls like this. Big criminal enterprise that is most likely from India at work using ip phones over the internet in a big criminal call centre. Caller Company: Cust Care Dept. Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

January 16, 2014, 1:26 pm Caller ID is Cust Care Dept. A CELLPHONE. Washington, DC 20019 PROBABLE ID THEFT / MEDICARE FRAUD. They will say they are from the tresaury and demand immediate payemnts from you that are fake. This is a criminal and they make massive amounts of random calls using robodialers to fool people with fear that they owe money. It's a terrible shame they haven't been caught. March 15, 2015, 5:46 pm This is some kind of extortion identity theft organization call. They will say they are from a big serious government organization to make you afraid and then demand money. They may be trying to steal your credit card or bank details or bill you for false debts. They have to be making enormous amounts of money otherwise this scam wouldn't be so big. The person tried to sound like a real gov agent and I just laughed them and they started to swear at me. Hang up or block as they are total criminals with no credibility whatsoever. April 17, 2015, 10:57 am Receive messages from this number several times a day and they have left a voice message saying they are an officer from the IRS regarding a criminal case that has been filed against me and that it is time sensitive that I get back to them ASAP.
