this number keeps calling and calling and they want you to verify yourself on the phone before they can take your number off the list I just hung up I never gave any information

Got a call from CallerID 4-323-2123. Didn't answer. Obviously this is not a legitimate CallerID. When I tried to add this number to the call blocker it wouldn't accept the number because it is too short.

Some kind of rewards program scam. Wants to sell you a membership to a rewards program for hundreds of dollars and offers you a $100 gift card to Walmart. Sounded like a giant lie. I can't believe that anyone would want to give me a free $100 gift for something I can't even remember doing. They said I went to an affiliate. No idea who that was and it's probably a lie.

Professional callback scammers. They want you to get curious so they can bill you with premium rates when you call them back. They will try to sound like a business you might have dealt with when you call them back so you will choose to stay on the line. Might use music to make the wait seem like it will quickly end. Nothing except scam billing happening here so best to avoid this.

Typical windows tech support call. I get at least one of these a month. Always the same lines about my computer's ip address giving off messages to windows about a virus infection that they need to remote come inside my computer to fix. Lies. They get quite angry if you play games with them. I usually do play games with them until they are screaming at me and then hang up. Feels good.
Posted: July 25, 2015, 3:46 pm
Best to avoid this caller. Not trustworthy at all. They record your number and use it for illegal billing. Many people get $495, $595, or even $695 bills on their card when they check their next credit card statement. This is a criminal and not the legit card services. If you want to verify then hang up immediately and call the number on the back of your card. They will tell you that this caller is a scam.

Claims to be card services calling with offers for lower credit card rates. Famous scam already so I wouldn't speak to them if you haven't already. Don't call them back (message will say the line is not in service most likely anyway) as this is a scammer. The FTC has been after these people for years. NOMOROBO was invented specifically to stop this kind of scammer. This caller is known to charge you hundreds of dollars on your credit card as soon as you give them your details.

Some kind of fraud scammer trying to take advantage of senior citizens. I didn't pick up on the call myself but my research seems to point to either the senior citizen monitoring alert scam or the pain relief cream for elderly folks. Best to stay off the phone ad avoid this caller, and block if you have that option available to you.

This is a scammer from 1st Financial Bank and they were Indian sounding, strong accent. They wanted to offer me a fake $10,000 loan pre-approved. This has all the earmarks of a scammer. Pre-approved loans over the phone are big sign you are speaking to a scammer. Indian accents is a second sign as it's too rampant (not racist, just obvious problem from India). Don't give them personal details.

Lame tech support scam. They are Indian sounding and wanted to discuss my pc computer virus, which is funny since I have a mac. Good idea to play around with these scumbags anbd just pretend to infect yourself with problems you don't understand like you are naive idiot with a computer. The point of these calls is to mislead you into thinking they helped you so you will trust them and then buy a 9 year tech support membership for hundreds of dollars.
Posted: July 25, 2015, 2:43 pm
Odd phone call - would not discuss with me and said it was personal business. Did not like the vibe.

Person with heavy accent calls to fix my computer. Has done this twice so far. He is using my cell number. Got angry when I told him I did not have a computer. He hung up on me.When I called back it was for a cruise/survey.

Received call stating that my computer was infected via virus and we're looking to sell software to correct the issue.

Seems to be from a "Student Debt Company" and the message was automated. Told me to press 1 to speak to an agent about lowering my student loan debt. I never bothered to do so and I'm not sure how they would do this. I'm not sure student loans allow this type of behavior. Very possibly that this is some kind of scam to rip off students so be weary.

Life Line Screening is very good, reasonable and non-invasive. They come to our city several times a year. Every few years I have them check my carotid arteries for blockage via ultrasound. They offer a variety of tests to prevent stroke, heart attacks, neuropathy, etc. When they call, it's a good reminder and I appreciate their call.

Just received a call from 347-541-0256. I answered -usually don't for numbers I don't recognize. I said "hello hello" with no response and I knew immediately it was a robo call and hung up. On a whim I entered the number into Internet search and was surprised to see all the folks who had reported the number for the. Raise robo scam. Thanks!

I have been getting a call from this number every day this week. I don't answer since I don't know the number. They never leave a message. I have called back the number and no one ever answers. I get a voicemail and it sounds like the person is from India.

call me trying to get me to pay a bill. was very rude o hung up on them. Not sure what debts I have as this one didn't sound right. I am all paid on debts as far as I can tell. Definitely no payday loans.

I've been getting phone calls from this number. After researching the number, this is a comment from someone who posted what they found out. 'Claimed to be a student loan company offering re-structuring on my student loan debt. I don't have any student loan debt. Incompetent scammers'.

Got a call saying my number had been chosen to stay a night free at any Marriott Hotel. Get these calls 3-4 times a day sometimes. I've pressed 1 for more info and told them I'm filing a complaint with CRTC. They just keep calling

AARP Healthcare calling to offer you home visits with a registered nurse. I have used this service in the past and no longer have any need for it. I wish there was a way to stop the calls as it's becoming rather obnoxious.

same thing as everyone else has messaged me about everything I have had on bisman so far. Have it forwarded to local law enforcement..first time has given a name granite it is probably false but will soon know!

Keeps calling every day. A fine of at least $1000 should be levied against these people then the government will be rolling in money in no time at all, so come sue them $$$

Constantly calling w/o reason.shouldn't even have my # being that only 3 fan have my #&for 911 purpose only.

Same as above - I just tell the caller I don't have a computer. I had to laugh at the man on the phone who did in fact have a very thick Indian accent. They try to talk smooth, but it's all an obvious scam.
Posted: July 22, 2015, 5:37 pm
I suspect that this is a giant scam. The call was about lower student debt, but in my case I have no student debt. I paid off my debt a long time ago. I have no worries in this area. So I'm not sure where they got my phone number from, but seeing as my student loan was paid off 4 or 5 years ago this doesn't seem like a legit call to me, or they are simply making random calls.

Came in on my business line no less. Right, I want to take a recruiting call on my business number. Sorry, I am working for the house, not building a book. C Ya Later.

They called me too and I told them do not call me and that they will be reported to the attorney general. I can't stand these people!!

Claims to be from Google and they have suspicious activity on my email account from all around the world. Will not be taken calls from this number anymore.
Posted: July 22, 2015, 12:47 pm
I got an automated caller informing me of my eligibility for lower credit card rates, and then they mention how the offer is time sensitive and if I don't take advantage of it immediately that I will lose the offer. Had this call a number of time. It's all lies. Never believe a card service call with time sensitive offers like this. They have card skimmers waiting for you to input your number into the system so they can record it and bill you hundreds of dollars immediately after.

I have received over 12 calls from this number in the past week. I ignored the calls because I don't know anyone in that area code and I figured it was a bill collector. the calls became annoying though, so I just called the number to tell whoever it was to stop calling my phone. The number is out of service. somebody is spoofing, or whatever it's called. obviously they're up to no good

Missed a call from this number yesterday (7/20/2015) at 1:35 PM - no message left. Just received a call from this number (7/21/2015 at 10:05 AM) with a man asking for Mrs. Fujimoto and when I said "ummm" he hung up. I legally changed my name from Fujimoto over 18 months ago.

I am tired of getting calls from this number. When you answer no one talks and when you call back you get nothing.

recording-regarding credit card acct. I get a call a day, but from different numbers. If I hit 7 or 9 it says goodbye. It wants me to hit 1 to connect, which I don't do. How do I get them to stop. I am on the no call list.

This guy called said he was a roofer and wanted to check out the house, declined his offer but he kept talking, just hung up.
Have had a recent run of burglaries in the area, might be related to this call. Called this number listed on facebook, they said their number was spoofed, so involved in some fraudalent activity.

7/20/2015 We got a call from Terri Jackson asking to speak to a Financial Advisor about questions on her 401k. I asked if she were from our area; she said yes.
Not true. She is either a solicitor or telemarketer of some type.

calls daily-wants me to push 1 regarding my credit card. I hit 7 and it says goodbye (it is a recording) They said it was my last chance to lower my rates so I would say that this is a big scam. I've read about this type of scam before the call came in about a year ago. Was ready for it.

5 calls in row from different numbers. As i am calling Jon's Pizza and some one ordered pizza and credit card not processing..I asked which address order placed. It turned out, this is recorded message.. I did not pick up any calls, may be they can spoof in phone by keeping you busy and stole data...

Call was regarding options to relieve student loan debt. They said the government has passed legislation that would help to ease student loans payments and lower them so it's easy to pay off. Not sure who these people are as they only called themselves "Student Debt Company" which doesn't seem like a real company name to me. Good luck, folks.

Keeps calling around the clock at specific intervals daily. Doesn't let up. Says it is Bloomingdales regarding a personal matter. Bloomingdales has ZERO affiliation with them. SCAM. They are phishing for personal information and identity theft.

Got a call asking me to participate in a short holiday survey as an IHG rewards member. They had a very strong accent so i couldn't understand what they were saying for most of the call. Quickly became obvious this number and call was fake/fraud/stupid/illegal, etc.

This guy is a scammer and will try to get any money he can out of you. Don't fall for any of his tricks or threats. He's more than likely living in Nigeria scamming people here in the US.

Got a computerized call on my cellphone stating this is my last call and that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I called the number back and spoke to a Peter Smith who insisted I give him my name. When I refused he hung up. I called back and the same guy answered. This time he said a few names and wanted me to conferred. I did and he hung up. Playing their game I called back again. I received a call from this number and he told me he was a long lost family member from Florida. First he asked for Alma I told him we did not have any relatives in Florida. He called me bitch and hung up. Then he called again asking for my mother Bertha. I asked what his name was and he said your cousin from Florida, I asked his name he said your cousin. I said I don't have any relatives in Florida and then he started cussing me out in Spanish. I just laughed in his face and hung up. ... Read More

Stupid Indian man telling me that it was very important to get over to my computer so he could address some virus infection problems that were infecting the whole network. Took me into the admin panel and tried to setup remote connections so he could manage my computer himself. I played along with this because I had already heard of this scam. He yelled at me at the end because nothing was helping him infect me.

The caller will make claims that you have won a rewards redemption. They will ask for a credit card to redeem the $100 gift card prize. This is were it gets fishy. They will most likely autobill you every month without your consent if you fall for this scam. They are not people and I would hang up on them.
Posted: July 14, 2015, 10:21 pm
Some lame scammer from India telling me that I owe money that I will be both sued and arrested for not complying. Ridiculous bs. I will not respond to this nonsense and will block from this point on. IRS website lists this is a common scam and they they don't make calls asking for payments in prepaid cards or western union as these scam callers will try.
Posted: July 14, 2015, 9:11 pm
They called us today and when I asked to be taken off the list, they said "It's not a SALES CALL MAM." Must be some solar advice caller as some of them do that, they only offer advice and not direct sales.
